We are a group of students at Macalester College currently in the Qualitative Research Methods in Geography course. As part of this class we collaborate with a community organization to use qualitative research on a matter they identify for inquiry. We have partnered with Dakota County Parks to help inform a reevaluation process of the plan for the future of Thompson County Park in West St. Paul, with a particular focus on the addition of a food productive landscape.
As a group of students we have come from a wide variety of interests, backgrounds, and academic disciplines, but all share a particular appreciation for geography.
